Where are your products made?

Our products are designed and manufactured in California, USA.

Are your products safe?

We formulate every product with ingredients that have been carefully researched and proven safe for topical, external use. Every finished formula undergoes a standard HRIPT (Human Repeat Insult Patch Test) conducted by an objective third-party lab to ensure the formula will not cause skin sensitivity or an allergic reaction. Every batch of every product undergoes a PET (Preservative Efficacy Test) to ensure antimicrobial protection. Formulas are stability tested to ensure they have an effective shelf life. Do you test on animals or do your products contain animal-derived ingredients?

No, we do not test on animals, and our skincare formulas do not contain animal by-products of any kind. As such, the entire line of products is vegan and Leaping Bunny Certified cruelty-free.

Are your products “all-natural” and organic?

Herban Wisdom™ formulas are designed with 100% naturally derived ingredients carefully selected and sourced from quality, conscientious origins. Herban Wisdom™ products also contain a high amount of certified organic ingredients but are not labeled USDA Certified Organic.

Do you source your ingredients sustainably?

We are extremely conscientious about the sourcing of every ingredient that goes into every Humanist Beauty™ formula. Only those ingredients that are clean, efficacious and sustainably produced will make the cut.

Are there ingredients that are not included on the packaging?

We uphold full-disclosure labeling which means we list every ingredient on the label that is contained in the formula.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes. The aluminum caps and closures, glass bottles, jars and droppers, rubber bulbs, plastic liners, plastic pump dip tubes, paperboard outer packaging and paper inserts are all recyclable.

Do your products expire?

Our products do not expire, however they do have a ‘Best If Used By’ date that is three years from the date the product was made. After a product has been opened, the shelf life is 12 months.

How should I store your products?

We recommend storing our products in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight. Better yet, put them in the refrigerator for cooling benefits and an extended shelf life.

What should I do if I am sensitive to most skin care products?

If you are using any skincare product for the first time, particularly if you have a history of extreme skin sensitivity, we suggest you conduct a self-patch test to check for the possibility of an adverse reaction. Simply apply a small amount of product on the inside of your arm or underneath your jaw line. Allow at least 24 hours to pass before checking the area. If no reaction has occurred, the product should be safe for you to use as directed. If a reaction does occur, do not use the product.

What if I have an allergic reaction to one of your products?

If you have an allergic reaction to a product, discontinue use immediately and consult your physician. You may return the product to us for a full refund.

Can I use your products if I’m pregnant or nursing?

Herban Wisdom™ formulas contain cannabinoids including cannabidiol (CBD). Cannabidiol use while pregnant or breastfeeding may be harmful. While we stand by the integrity and safety of all of our products, we recommend you consult with your doctor or medical practitioner before starting any new routine while you are pregnant or nursing.

When will I see results?

Because each individual is unique, the time to see results will vary from person to person. Typically, results will depend upon the product itself, your skin condition and your skin type. Most Humanist Beauty™ skincare products may take approximately 3-4 weeks to see results, the time it takes for skin to complete one regeneration cycle. Treatment products may take approximately 6-8 weeks for more significant results to be visible. Regardless of the product you choose, the best way to maximize the chance of seeing results as soon as possible is with consistent usage as directed.

What CBD testing do you conduct?

We are serious about the quality, purity and efficacy of the CBD put into our Herban Wisdom™ products. As such, the CBD in every batch of every Herban Wisdom™ formula is triple-tested by three different independent third-party labs. First, the CBD ingredient is third-party tested for purity, potency and pollutants at the supplier. We move forward with CBD batches that contain the level cannabinoids and terpenes we want without the heavy metals, pesticides (including glyphosate), solvents, mycotoxins and bacteria we don’t want. Second, once the CBD ingredient is received, we repeat this testing with a different third-party lab to confirm the test results and ensure we have received the correct CBD. And third, after the CBD ingredient is blended into its designated formula, every final production batch is potency tested by yet a different third-party lab to confirm that the amount of CBD stated on the package is the amount contained in the actual formula. Where do you grow your hemp?

The hemp used in Herban Widsom™ formulas is grown outdoors on farms in the USA using sustainable, organic cultivation practices.

Do your products contain THC?

The hemp extract used in used in Herban Wisdom™ formulas contains trace amounts of THC, less than 0.3% THC to be exact. This level of THC ensures our formulas are federally legal and compliant. Our hemp is grown on US farms with oversight by respective state Departments of Agriculture. Hemp cultivation is conducted in accordance with section 7606 of the Agricultural Act of 2014, and the THC level in every final formula is compliant in accordance with the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018. We make all of our testing on our finished goods publicly available via batch code.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Amazon Pay. We do not accept personal checks, prepaid debit cards, or money orders.

Will I be charged Sales Tax?

Sales tax is dependent upon where you live and the items you purchase. All tax estimates will be calculated automatically at checkout.

Why was my order declined?

In most cases, orders are declined due to a mismatch of address, zip code or security code. The information you provide must be correct and must match the information your credit card company has on file. If you have checked your information and it appears correct, please contact us to so we can help troubleshoot the problem.

Can I combine Promocodes?

Sorry, our system only accepts one promocode at a time.

What if my promocode is expired?

Sorry, we can’t honor expired promocodes.

How will I know when my order has shipped?

As soon as we assign a shipping label to your order, we’ll send you an email with tracking information.

Why hasn’t my tracking number updated?

Once an order has shipped, tracking information can take up to 48 hours to update. If it’s been over 48 hours without an update, feel free to contact us.

When can I expect my order?

In-stock orders placed before 11AM PST ship same-day (weekends and U.S. holidays are excluded). Orders with flat rate standard shipping will arrive in 2-7 business days.

Pre-orders will be shipped within 30 days. You will receive an email update with tracking number to let you know your pre-order has shipped.

Where do you ship?

We ship to all 50 states in the USA unless the product contains CBD and is restricted by state law. We do not ship CBD products to the following states:

  • Idaho
  • Iowa
  • South Dakota

Regulations change, and so we will be sure to update shipping restrictions based upon the latest state-by-state legalities.

How much is shipping?

Flat rate standard shipping via USPS First Class Mail is $10 for orders under $50.

USPS priority shipping is free for orders $50+.

My tracking says that my order was “delivered” but I never received it.

It’s not uncommon for a shipment to experience some delays or for a carrier to mark an order delivered and not have it arrive until the next day. If your order still hasn’t arrived 48 hours after it was estimated and/or marked as delivered, feel free to contact us.

What if my package is damaged or missing?

Humanist Beauty™ products are not sold in stores, so you may have purchased a counterfeit or diverted product. Notify us right away if that is the case.
